Empty shelves: your pantry gives you margin.

Transport strikes, supply problems or panic buying can leave shelves empty for a few days. With a normal, well-rotated pantry, there's no need to rush to the supermarket.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask most

Is having a pantry hoarding?

No. Hoarding is buying everything at once when there's already a shortage. A pantry fills up little by little, with what you already eat, and is rotated as normal.

How many days of food should I have?

The EU recommends at least 72 hours. Many families feel calmer with two weeks, built up little by little.

What do I do if a medicine is out of stock?

Talk to your pharmacy and your health centre: there are often alternatives. Don't leave long-term medication until the last day.
